为进一步提升本行整体服务质素，特此通知由2023年11月6日起，在本行新申请开立香港一卡通账户需符合境外资产总值港币800万元（或等值货币）的最低要求。 阁下可在申请开立账户时提供阁下名下的各类境外资产（包括存款、股票、债券及基金）的月结单或存款证明书等。

Notice regarding the Asset Requirements for New Account Opening of Hong Kong All-In-One Account

To account applicant,

Thank you for your support to China Merchants Bank Hong Kong Branch!

In order to further enhance the overall service quality of our Bank, please be advised that, with effect from 6 November 2023, new clients applying for Hong Kong All-In-One Account shall meet the minimum requirement in asset value in the aggregate amount of HKD8 million (or its equivalent in other currency). Account applications may be supported with asset proof such as monthly statements or deposit certificates issued by financial institutions in relation to investable assets, e.g. deposits, stocks, bonds, and funds etc.

The Bank reserves the right to make the final decision on account approval.

If there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of this Notice, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Note: existing Hong Kong All-In-One Account customers will NOT be affected by the above asset requirement and can continue to use the Bank’s services.
